Dr. Rodger Fernandez is a barrister and solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, New South Wales and the High Court of Australia. He practises in the areas of Administrative Law, Migration Law, Litigation and Business Law. He has been a legal practitioner for over 30 years.
He is accredited by the Law Institute of Victoria as a Specialist Solicitor in Immigration Law and current Chairperson of the Advisory Committee to the Specialisation Board of the Law Institute of Victoria in immigration law.
Rodger is an Adjunct Professor of Law at the College of Law and Justice, Victoria University and lectures in migration law and practice. He has lectured at Victoria University for over 30 years.
Rodger was also a member of the Program Advisory Committee, Immigration Advisers Authority New Zealand as well as the Independent Reference Group of the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority (OMARA).
He is listed in the Financial Review’s ‘Australia’s Best Lawyers’.
He is the co-author of the Australian Immigration Companion and the Australian Migration Legislation Collection.
